Maddocks Garden Performance

On Wednesday 11th October all the string students walked down to Maddocks Gardens Aged Care Centre. The three school string ensembles, Senior Strings, String Orchestra and Junior Strings performed and they had two pieces which everyone performed. Pieces included classics by Vivaldi and Bach as well as some more up-beat numbers like Leroy Anderson’s Jazz Pizzicato. They were very well received with pleas from the audience to come back soon. 

It was great to have students performing from year 7 to 12. Our music captain, Phoebe did some of the announcing and there was some beautiful solo work from Honey.

A huge thankyou to Rosemary Iversen and Ally Orr for their work preparing the string students and an enormous congratulations to the students for their wonderful performance.
