This week in reading we are learning to ask and answer questions.

VOCABULARY

Narrative: A story.

Analyse: examine (something) in detail, typically in order to explain and interpret it.

Comprehension: the understanding and interpretation of what is read.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child read their favourite book and write down questions before/during and after reading.

While they are reading get them to revisit their questions and answer them using text information or change their thinking and create new questions.
