See attached list for all Year Levels Stationery List for 2024.

EVERGREEN CHRISTMAS TREES

Thank you to Evergreen Trees for again donating the most beautiful Christmas Tree to our school.  The tree has been admired by all and this year the children's decorations were the best we had seen!  We are donating the tree to Nixon House on Monday for their residents to enjoy leading up to Christmas.

Thank you to all the families who purchased a Christmas Tree from Evergreen Trees.

THANK YOU TO PINO CASTALDO & NEILS MEATS

A BIG thank you to Pino - Nic (3/4H) and John's (5/6C) Dad for organising the sausages for our Carol's night. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy them on Friday night.  They have been frozen and we looking forward to eating them at the Feast of St Brigid when we get back to School, Week 1.

THANK YOU - BAKER'S DELIGHT MORDIALLOC

A BIG thank you to Ryan and his team at Bakers Delight Mordialloc for donating all the bread for our Sausage Sizzle at our Carols night.  The bread has all been popped in the freezer and we will be enjoying a Sausage Sizzle first week back at school.

ST MARY OF THE CROSS PARISH NEWS

New Parish Earthcare Rep for St Brigids School

In his encyclical Laudato Si’, Pope Francis reminds us that the concept of integral ecology encourages us to care for the Earth and each other. It calls us to action.

When you join Earthcare, you become part of our Parish achieving social and ecological justice.

Our Parish of St Mary of the Cross is an Earthcare Parish with National Earthcare as part of Caritas. We have a team of 6 that represents the two Church communities, two School communities, parish leadership team and our Justice Action group. Previously Dina Watterson a parent from St Brigids represented your school and we are very grateful for her great contribution. As her last child is leaving the school we need a new representative.

We only meet every 6-8 weeks online through Zoom and decide on activities and projects the parishes and schools can work on together. I am hopeful someone will be happy to fill this important role. Please contact Julie Buick on 0422674634 to discuss your interest.
