Monash Waverley Division Boys Softball

In Term 1 this year, our Boys Softball team won the District Gala Softball competition.  This meant we qualified for the Division event that was held on Monday 9th October at Waverley Softball Centre.  

In a tougher level of competition our Boys Softball team did a great job!  We played against 4 other schools - COHR, Huntingtower PS, Jells Park PS and Mount View PS.  

Our first game was a close 1 run victory with SJV taking the lead on the last hit of the game.  The second game was another victory by 1 run, again we took the lead with the last hit of the game.  We were 2 wins out of 2!  Our final 2 games were hard fought losses to very strong teams who went on the be the 1st and 2nd placegetters for the Division.  

In the end, SJV finished 3rd in the Division - an outstanding achievement!
