Classroom Happenings

Holidays are fun times and so is the sharing of our holiday memories. The children in Year 1/2 collected some holiday memories in their Memory Bags. Visits to the Museum, the Zoo, Italy, Grandma’s and Grandpa’s homes, Football games, the movies, the pool and many more places were great topics of conversation. Now let’s write about these adventures!

The clever Year 3/4 children visited the Junior school classes to share their learning from their Digi-tech sessions. How impressive their digital stories were! Some were scary or funny and most stories allowed the children to choose from two possible endings. The 3/4s were learning to design and implement digital solutions. In pairs they created an interactive 'Choose Your Own Adventure Story’ where they needed to include hyperlinks that involved decision making and user input.
