ART

We have had a colourful start to the term in the new art space, with students looking at the work of different artists who used colour, texture, and movement in their work.

The prep students have enjoyed looking at the illustration art of Eric Carle, especially his book ‘Draw Me A Star.’ Students used torn tissue paper in the style of Carle’s collage work to create their own patterns and pictures., creating texture and seeing what happens when colours sit next to each other on the page.
