Huon and Sassafras were fortunate to have a group of engineers from Tasnetworks run Robotics Workshop with both classes. Students worked together in small groups with an engineer to code a mBot robot through a series of challenges. 

We have also started using Makey Makeys to create an interactive poster in Science. Students will be researching information about a planet. They will then record audio files and code the buttons on the Makey Makeys in Scratch. We will then connect the Makey Makeys to the poster so that people can listen to the information about the planets when they press on certain parts of the poster.
