PLAY-DOH FUN
It’s been a very busy term in the Junior Art Room.
Our Foundation students had a ball celebrating the end of term with some outdoor chalk drawings and 3D play-doh constructions!!

World Fair Newspaper Article
In Term 3 on Tuesday the 5th of September 2023 the year Six cohort attended a World Fair at Woodlands Primary School. They had countries from all over the world they studied for about 8 weeks. On that day they presented them to the different year levels throughout the day.
They ended up having to finish their lunch early, so that their parents could come and see their amazing work. There were balloons, posters, slides, flags, streamers, paper chains and food that lit up the room with colour.
There were so many kids coming and leaving and questions being thrown at you about your country. All of the Grade Six’s put so much effort and hard work into their countries and how they would present themselves. We thought it was a fun day and we enjoyed being a part of this fantastic day.
We would love to do something similar to this again. With ups and downs, people being sick or practising for assembly, they still managed to present amazing quality work.

World Fair!
On the 5th of September was the day of the World Fair, where the Year 6’s would be showing off their country’s display tables. They worked very hard to put all their information together as well as making a poster, bringing objects and food based on the country that was chosen.
They all worked together and had so much fun. At 10:00 the Prep’s came to see our displays, at 11:30 the ear 1’s and Y2’s came. Then at 12:30 the Y4’s and Y5’s came up until lunch. They all loved the displays and had so much fun. At 2:00 we came in early from lunch to show our parents our displays. They loved the information and especially the food.
All in all it was a great day, until we got bucketed on with rain while packing up and getting ready to go home. I wish the day just re-winded.
