Joeys Yarning Space

We acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians,

past and present of this land of the Anaiwan, Banbai, Dunghutti,

Jukambal, Kambuwal, Weraerai, Kamilaroi, Ngoorabul and Gumbaynggirr as acknowledged by Armidale Lands Council, people who long before us lived,

loved and raised their children on this land.

We also acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families

in our community and acknowledge their deep physical

and spiritual connections to the land.

Highschool Visit

Yaama Ganu,

We were lucky to showcase our yarning space to some students from the Warialda High School on the 28th August.

We had some of our school leaders welcome the students to our space and explain the protocols of the yarning space and sharing knowledge. Thank you for engaging in our cross school connection via culture.

As always- if you need anything school related or otherwise, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
