Principal's News
Hello,
We have had a very exciting past few weeks with various events littering our calendar.
I would like to focus and share some reflection on a particular few.
We must give thanks to our amazing athletics athletes who travelled down to Tamworth on a cold and windy Friday morning. The facilities we participated at were simply amazing and gave a great background for our 4 incredible runners the opportunity to represent themselves and our school. If it wasn't for Willow for putting her hand up to help out our school relay team we wouldn't have came in third place, thanks Willow. We also must give a big shoutout to Izzy for her incredible bravery and determination to get up after falling and not only finishing her race but also pushing through the pain in the relay. She definitely showed the spirit of St Joseph's during this. Well done to everyone you did yourself and our school very proud.
Book week dress up and Kindergarten visit. Our families and students must be commended for their efforts this year, we were blown away by how excited everyone was to dress up. When we have the opportunities to engage with our local community we sure make the most of it and our students thoroughly enjoyed their time with the kindy kids. Engaging with the possible next St Joeys students is an important part of our community minded culture.
Last but not least would be our Fathers Day Liturgy. With Mr Mills unfortunately away the students and staff led a beautiful liturgy that gave us the opportunity to acknowledge all of the amazing fathers and father figures in our lives. We are very lucky to share these experiences with our amazing school families.
Thanks
Mathew Mills
