From the 1/2 Classrooms

On Friday 8th September, the Grade 1 and 2 students as well as the Foundation students took a bus trip to the Frankston Arts Centre and saw Possum Magic. With anticipation, we were excited to watch a show about Grandma Poss and Hush - a story that we all knew very well. 

We were not disappointed, it was a fabulous show with special effects, puppetry and magic! Highlights were the real magic that Grandma Poss performed like turning pages of a book without her claws and making a cloth fly! Special images were highlighted on a projector and the projector was also used to create shadow puppets. Favourite parts of the play that students enjoyed included the snake chasing Hush, Hush swimming for Grandpa Poss’s glasses and the disco at the end.
