Possum Magic

On Friday the 8th of September Team Foundation students travelled down the Eastern Freeway to the Frankston Arts Centre to watch the highly anticipated production of Possum Magic! This fabulous production was performed by the Monkey Baa Theatre Company. It was full of magical, fun moments and the Foundation students were highly engaged throughout the 50 minute performance.

Thank you so much to the mothers of Envie (FKJ) and Ali (FSR) for assisting us on this excursion.

Foundation Stars Weeks 8 & 9

In Week 8 our Foundation Stars were Elise (FKJ) and Avnee (FSR) . Avnee entertained us on Friday by sharing her Timeline booklet. This booklet was filled with many images of Avnee's life. Avnee confidently shared each page of the booklet with us and was able to clearly answer questions directed at her. Well done Avnee!

Elise also shared her Personal Timeline with us all. Her timeline was in the form of a poster. Elise remembered all the details of each picture and shared these events with us all in an entertaining and engaging way. The audience loved seeing the picture of when Elise travelled overseas to London. This picture was taken outside Buckingham Palace. Children wanted to know if Elise met King Charles! Great job Elise!

In Week 9 we celebrated Cathy (FSR) and Leia (FKJ) as our next Foundation Stars. Unfortunately Cathy was unable to share her Foundation Star presentations due to being unwell. We look forward to seeing Cathy's presentations in Term 4.

Leia shared her Personal Timeline at the end of the week presentation. She took her time and clearly told stories about each photo. The audience loved hearing Leia share this information. They especially enjoyed listening about the time when Leia learnt how to ride her two-wheeled bike without training wheels! Fantastic effort Leia!

We look forward to seeing what the Term 4 Foundation Stars will share next term! Thanks again for your continued support in assisting your child with this activity.

We wish you all a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!
