We’re developing an alumni program
Swinburne Senior Secondary College is looking to connect with former students. We're developing an alumni program in partnership with Ourschool, a not-for-profit program that helps public high schools build and grow their alumni communities.
In February, we welcomed Ourschool’s Marina Penderis to the Swinburne Senior Secondary College team. Marina is our Alumni Program Coordinator and will be with us two days per week during term time.
Alumni can be inspirational, relatable career role models for current students. They can give back to their old school in many ways, including career pathway advice, industry insights, information on study after Year 12, study tips and techniques, work experience and donations to assist with school programs. The opportunities for involvement are endless.
