Noah James:

Arrabri Lodge is a wonderful place to go for schools camps and a lot of different occasions. My 3 favourite parts about Arrabri Lodge were the flying fox, basketball court/gym

and a giant swing, the highest you could go was 18 metres, I went all the way to the top. In the first swing you thought you were going to fall but after the first swing you would be fine being up so high, there were 13 activities you could do and all of them were so much fun.

The meals at Arrabri Lodge were amazing on Monday night we had chicken schnitzel and veggies and for dessert we had chocolate pudding and ice cream. On Tuesday morning for breakfast we had cereal, toast and hash browns they were amazing, for lunch on Tuesday we had hamburgers, for dinner we had lasagne and veggies, for dessert we had ice cream in a cone. On Wednesday for breakfast we had pancakes and maple syrup for Lunch you got to choose what you had in your roll, I had a salad and ham roll, it was delicious.

When we had no activities to do we had free time which included games room with air hockey, table tennis and foosball you could also play basketball in the gym play outside (soccer football vortex) and mini golf. We also had an opportunity to find gold two people found seven pieces each, there were to parts of the river so we split up I found 1 peace and dropped it and I found it again thankfully. The staff there were really nice, everyone that went to camp that I’ve talked to had a great time.

Some people got a lot of sleep and some people didn’t, teachers especially didn’t get a lot of sleep due to some students staying up late and not going to bed when they’re supposed to. In the cabins you could have a talk with your roommates, play some games if someone brought any to the camp.

If your looking for some places for school camp go to Arrabri Lodge. It’s basically guaranteed you WILL have an amazing time there.

Lola Russo:

The Grade 3 and 4 camp was amazing! We did so many new and exciting things! It was a very fun experience!

There were lots of activities such as a giant swing, ropes course, archery, mini golf, flying Fox, gold panning, bush dancing and so much more! My favourite was the giant swing, which was a massive swing that your group members pulled you up by a rope to the top and then you would free fall back down to the ground.

The meals were very tasty and kid friendly. On the 1st night we had chicken schnitzel and veggies, on the 2nd night we had lasagne, chips and salad. Both nights were supplied with ice cream for dessert!

Our cabins had amounts in them ranging from 4 to 7 people. This made it much easier to get to sleep. The drive back wasn’t long because we broke it up with a trip to Lilydale Lake where we had a picnic lunch. We arrived at Belgrave South at around 2:20 and waited for our parents. Overall I had an amazing time and I think most other people did to!

The staff were so nice and we were never forced to do or eat anything we didn’t feel comfortable with. I’m also very grateful for our teachers. We would not have had this experience without them!
