Grade 1

Holly Schwind & Emily Wallis

On Thursday 10th August, the Year 1s went on an excursion to Melbourne Museum. We had a fabulous day and learned a lot! The students wrote a recount about their day. Here are a few examples (edited for clarity):

I went to the museum and I saw insects, whale bones, Bunjil, eels, birds and triceratops bones. I liked the insects, spiders and Bunjil. I didn’t like the eels or spears or the fish. My favourite thing was the insects because there was a bit where we could go inside a dome. My least favourite was the eels because they had a cut that was bleeding really badly.

Yesterday I went to the museum with grade one. My favourite part was the triceratops because it was by itself. My least favourite part was the lesson because it was like school.  I also saw insects.
