This week I sent Criss Canning, our Artist in Residence, some photos of our students' work. Criss got straight back to me.

Her reply was as follows: 

"Good morning Marcia,

... Thank you SO much for sending the children's art works...I'm truly amazed at the standard and how beautiful they are... I feel so happy to think that my work has played a small part in inspiring these children, please tell them how impressed I am...

These are some of the multimedia still life art works that are on display in our gallery, and were inspired initially, by investigation into Criss Canning's work.

Criss Canning then held a Webex meeting with all our grade 3, 4 and 5 students.

We, in turn, are SO very grateful for her giving so generously of her time, high level knowledge and skill - as well as her unbounded enthusiasm!
