Parent-Run Session: Conversations about Constitutional Recognition & the Voice to Parliament

No doubt families are hearing a lot about the upcoming referendum to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Australians in the Constitution, and enshrine a Voice to Parliament.

With all the noise and partisanship swirling around the referendum, now is the time to engage and educate ourselves, our family and friends about what the proposed changes mean, so that we can make an informed decision when casting our votes in the coming months.

To support this, I am running a series "Kitchen Table Conversations" in Fairfield with anyone interested in understanding the proposed changes and what they mean for you, your family and our community.

The focus of this conversation is on helping you make your own decision, not telling you how to vote.

If you are interested in having an open and respectful conversation please contact Danny Sherman, FPS parent, on: 0412 481 023 or dannysherman1@gmail.com
