Mazenod at the Kalmunda Garden Festival

Thank you to all those who dropped by the Mazenod Recycling and Sprout Station that was held at the Kalamunda Garden Festival on Sunday September 3rd (Father's Day), at Stirk Park.

We helped to minimise waste at the event by sorting and recycling as much waste as we could by making sure the correct rubbish was placed in the correct bins.

Whilst at the recycling station, we managed a Sprout Station activity. Attendees were invited to bring along their compostable drink cups, fill it with potting mix and plant a seedling in it, to take home.

Thanks to Green Life Soil Company for kindly supplying the potting mix.

We even sold all of our own Worm Wee, produced by our own worm farm, which are fed with all our food scraps.

Thank you to the boys and staff that helped with the stall on the day.
