School Council for 2023

Dear Fellow Parents, 

As a parent of a student here at Mackellar Primary, I find it hard to express how proud I am of my son of course, but also of the whole school for the wonderful production held last week. It was both invigorating and rewarding to see so many parents, family and friends at the event joining with council and the staff to celebrate the great work of our children. 

Our sincere thanks go to the staff for all of their hard work over many weeks and months. To see every single student at the school given the opportunity to perform shows we are a very inclusive and supportive school environment. To see so many staff join in the fun and perform at the finale was the icing on the cake, although Mr. McGlade's choice of scarf left a lot to be desired. 

As mentioned, the school will alternate a production every second year with an art-show, allowing the students yet another opportunity to showcase their artistic skills whilst using a different medium. Planning for the 2024 art show is well underway, and if the production last week was any measure, it stands to be an exciting event for all.
