Introducing Miss Donna Williams

Hi name is Donna Williams (Miss Donna). I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 7 years, completing my Diploma in 2022. I started at Curiosity this year and look forward to continuing to learn with the children in my own growth and development journey.

I thoroughly enjoy watching children grow and develop, while exploring their environment and learning new skills. It is so rewarding observing children learn and master life skills knowing I have given them the assistance and support they needed to help achieve these.

Every child is entitled to a good education and I feel blessed knowing I have been able to provide children with this. I thrive knowing I helped play a part in shaping the future generations and encouraging them to become the best version of themselves. Little do these children know they continually help me grow and learn too.

I am passionate about having strong connections not only with the children but their families too. Great partnerships with all parties allows us to work together to have all the information to support the growth and needs of each individual child.

Introducing Mrs Ally Burt

Hello! I'm Allison Burt, also known as Mrs. Ally. Stepping into the exciting realm of Curiosity ELC marks a new chapter in my journey as an educator. While I may be new to Curiosity ELC, and Early Years Education, my dedication to fostering inclusive, holistic learning environments is unwavering.

My passion for education stems from a profound belief in the inherent potential of every child and a commitment to equity and inclusivity. Through my experiences in Government South Australian primary schools, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education in shaping young lives. This conviction drives me forward as I eagerly embrace the opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant world of Early Years Education.

At the core of my educational philosophy lies a deep reverence for First Nation People perspectives. I acknowledge the wisdom and cultural richness Indigenous communities bring, striving to integrate their knowledge systems into learning environments. By honouring diverse cultural backgrounds, I create inclusive spaces where every child feels valued and empowered to embrace their identity.

Moreover, my appreciation for the natural world fuels my dedication to fostering connections to nature. I believe children thrive when connected to the environment, and I'm committed to providing meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity and stewardship. Whether through outdoor play, nature walks, or gardening activities, I aim to instil a lifelong connection to the environment.

Joining Curiosity ELC, I'm inspired by the prospect of collaborating with passionate educators and engaging with young learners in innovative ways. In addition, recognising the crucial role families play in a child's journey, I prioritise building strong partnerships with families and caregivers. Together, we can create a supportive network that empowers children to thrive both at home and in the educational environment.

I eagerly anticipate meaningful conversations and the opportunity to build relationships within our learning community!
