Persuasive Speeches
Stage 5, Level 3 Intensive English Centre (IEC) students presented persuasive speeches as part of their learning program. These students are exiting the IEC to join mainstream high schools at the end of Term 2.
The videos demonstrate my students' acquired knowledge and application of their language skills in composing an argument and presenting it as a multimodal text. The speeches cover issues that are relevant to teenagers at school.
