Conflict resolution:

This week we will be exploring how to solve problems we may encounter during play time and learning time. 

VOCABULARY

Conflict: When we may have a disagreement with another person or something happens with another person which isn’t good. 

Resolution: How we fix a problem with may have with another person. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

With your child discuss the following examples with your child. Work together to identify ways in which you can resolve these issues. You may wish to role play this with your child.

Examples to discuss:

• Your younger or older brother/sister is not sharing their toy with you. 
• Your younger or older brother/sister is trying to wrestle you. 
• A family member has said something that you didn’t like. 
• A family member has ripped a page in one of your favourite books.
