Pi DAY
March 14 was International Maths day. It was also International Pi Day.
To celebrate Pi Day, this year a competition was held at lunchtime challenging everyone to see how many digits they could recite. The contest was fierce! In the end, the strongest turnout was from Year 9.
The overall winner was Baylen Collins of 9G who recited 38 digits of Pi. Runners-up were Thomas Richardson of 9J and Nathan Chen of 7G.
Well done to everyone who entered.
