Easter fundraising

Thank you to the CSPS community for their generosity in contributing to the Easter baskets. Money raised contributes to the Year 6 Graduation.

Student Leaders forum

The School Captains and Vice Captains attended a City of Casey Student Leaders forum 280324.  Speakers ranged from:

• Sukart Alex - Founder of Stand Out Basketball
• Luke Kennedy, a motivational speaker encouraing us all to Enlighten... Motivate... Achieve

We have arranged to discuss with the teacher leaders some workshops and whole school activity ideas to extend our learning about the use of labels on ourselves and recognising our True and False selves.

INSPIRE Leadership Day

Nine Year 6 student leaders attended the City of Casey INSPIRE Leadership Day 300424.  

Key note speak Rosie Thomas OAM (Order of Australia Medal) spoke of the importance of:

• Small actions make big differences.
• Our actions match our behaviour.
• Imposter syndrome is the little voice inside your head.

Workshops ranged from extending our understanding of diversity,  to exploring the power of poetry to  being your own 'cheerleader' through improvisation.  

The vast array of City of Casey resources that CSPS could continue to draw upon was impressive.

We are looking forward to sharing our learning at the upcoming School Council meeting on 8th May.
