Boarding News

Dear Boarder Parents

Week 11 or end of term is here and with only half the number of boarders in house you could be excused for thinking it should be a quiet week – but nothing is further from the truth! With only Yrs 7, 10 and 12 in house we are taking the opportunity to have a few special events and activities.

Photo Galleries – The Hub

We hope that you have had a chance to look at our new boarding photo galleries on The Boarding Hub page. We have reorganised these to make it easier to find different events and groupings and hope you enjoy.

Start of Term 2 Travel

Boarders should have their return tickets which they received at the end of Term 1– these will contain their return bookings as appropriate. If you only have a return journey booked these will be emailed out to families. If you have any queries, please be in touch.

Boarding Houses will reopen on Sunday 28th April 2pm.

Winter Uniform – Terms 2 and 3

The Uniform Shop will be open this Friday and then the second week of the holidays on Wed 24th and Friday 26th April 8-4:30pm. Can I also remind you that the online shop is always available, and they will deliver to the boarding house for the start to term if needed. Please ensure that your child returns with their school blazer and dress hat.

Closed Weekend – Wk 1 T2 Friday 3rd May until Monday 6th May

Please remember that the first weekend of each term is a closed weekend.

Boarder Parent Event

Our Boarder Parent Reps are hosting casual get togethers for all year groups on Sunday 28th April prior to the boarding houses being open. These are being held at The Tamworth Hotel for a casual lunch and drinks.  Students and siblings are welcome with a playground for younger siblings. Tables have been reserved for the assigned year groups to make finding your fellow parents a little easier.  We are looking forward to seeing you there!

The Tamworth Hotel

12:30pm – Years 7, 8, 10, 11, 12

1:00pm – Year 9

We hope that the coming holiday period is one of enjoyment and safety for all our boarders and their families and we are looking forward to seeing you all return for the start to Term Two.

Kind regards,

Courtney Coe
