Tildesley Shield: Kambala finishes 4th place
The prestigious Tildesley Shield tournament was held last Wednesday and Thursday at Pennant Hills Park Tennis Centre. This year we had 12 girls competing: 6 girls in the singles rounds and 6 girls in the double's rounds.
Day 1 saw our 6 singles players compete and all of them did extremely well. Mila Duchen Chloe Myers made it to the 4th round, and Mila Duchen and Claire-Elyse Waked made it to the 5th round and Arabella Bugden made it to the 6th round, narrowly missing out on the quarter finals.
Day 2 we watched our doubles players compete and they also did so well. At the end of the tournament we finished in 4th spot, only 1 point off 3rd place!
Well done to all of the girls competing and to the reserves who spent the two days cheering and supporting all of the players. There was a great atmosphere at the venue, and we are already looking forward to next year!

Netball Clinics go from strength to strength
Our Junior School Netball clinics have once again been a very popular sports choice for our Year 4-6 students. Each week the girls participate in netball skills and drills as well as game play, in preparation for the Term 2 IPSHA Netball season. The improvement over the past 6 weeks has been immense. I am looking forward to our final week of clinics on Saturday 23 March which will be round robin games against each other. This is a great way to put all of our practise into game situations.
A reminder for all girls who participate in the clinics that Saturday 23 March ALL year groups will attend the clinics from 8.15am - 10.15am
