FIRST NATIONS NEWS

T3 2025

Each Thursday during Weeks 4, 5, and 6, Ayden Martin and Katie O’Reilly from Carclew Performing Arts have been working with our Year 3–6 students, introducing them to a range of artistic styles and forms.

Last week, classes discussed the local algae bloom before creating beach-themed artworks using acrylic paints. Students incorporated natural materials such as shells, stones, and sand to add texture and detail to their paintings.

Student participation has been fantastic, with everyone thoroughly engaged and enjoying

 the experience.
