Principal's Report

8 Birds to go!

It's been a huge week of positive acknowledgements at Box Hill North Primary School with students adding a whopping 4 Birds to our Celebration Tree since last Thursday. Students have earned a total of 32 Birds for Compassion, Ambition, Courage and Creativity since our last Celebration Day. I wonder how many Birds they can earn in the coming week?

Box Hill WHO? Box Hill NORTH!

We have finally installed some new, very loud, very professional signs for our school and Kindergarten. We think they look fantastic, let us know what you think!

🚘Elizabeth Street Safety🚘

Thank you to all the parents and students who have adjusted to the new, safer approach to drop-offs and pick-ups on Elizabeth Street. Having now closed the main driveway gates, students and parents are redirected to enter and exit via the pedestrian gates only, leading directly to the Kiss and Drop area or to the pedestrian crossing closer to Woodhouse Grove.

Staff on Yard Duty have been vigilant in reminding parents about legal parking on Elizabeth Street and parents have been very responsive to the new approach. Thank you to everyone for keeping our student safe when entering and exiting the school!

You must only stop in the Kiss and Go zone, but must not leave your vehicle while stopped. This is so the cars can keep flowing as more parents arrive to collect or drop off their children.

A reminder that any section of road with a YELLOW LINE is a NO STOPPING zone.

WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!📢📢📢📢
