Student Learning

Foundation
In writing the preps have been learning about the structure of letter writing. They wrote letters to friends and family and posted them in our class mailbox. Some even got a reply letter which was exciting!
The preps are getting so much more confident in sharing their work with the class. Here they are sharing their great writing!
Year 1/2
Writing - The students are really loving our letter-writing unit. They’ve written postcards and letters to one another and posted them through our very own classroom post office. Watch your mailbox—there are more surprises on the way!
Math - Students have been applying their skip-counting skills to solve division problems. A highlight of the week was playing Spin & Split, a hands-on game that made practising division both interactive and fun.
P.E- With some warmer weather, students have enjoyed taking part in a variety of outdoor games, including Cannonball, Pac-Man & Ship, Shark, Shore. These activities have been a fun way to stay active while focusing on their listening skills.
Year 3/4
Working with fractions on a number line, using a variety of different problem solving skills to help us understand.
Congratulations to Ben our latest Blitzmaster!
