Wellbeing News

In Wellbeing for Term 4, we will continue to focus on developing respectful relationships through lessons that embody our values of care, kindness, personal best, and respect. Students will explore showing care for themselves and others by understanding emotions and practicing inclusive behaviours. Kindness lessons will focus on effective communication, problem solving and supporting classmates. Through Personal Best activities, students will work on developing self-awareness, resilience, and goal-setting skills while learning that doing their best means continuous growth and effort rather than perfection.

Students will strengthen their skills in collaboration by working together on group activities, learning to value diverse perspectives, share responsibilities, and support one another's success. The Respect component covers understanding boundaries and building healthy relationships with family, friends, and community. Activities in Wellbeing will use a range of activities including role-playing, group work and scenarios specific to the topic to help students practice these values and continue to build on skills.
