Middle School Camp Success!!
Last week our Year 3 and 4 students had the wonderful opportunity to head off to Phillip Island Adventure Resort for their camp. It was an incredible few days filled with fun, challenge, and personal growth.
Our students did an amazing job embracing the full camp experience – taking on new challenges, stepping outside their comfort zones, and supporting one another along the way. From the high ropes and giant swing to the beach walk and evening activities, the camp was full of moments where students stretched themselves, discovered new strengths, and built lasting memories with their peers.
A very big thank you must go to our dedicated staff team who gave so generously of their time, energy, and care. Camps are a huge commitment, and it is thanks to their efforts that our students were able to enjoy such a rich and rewarding experience.
We are so proud of our Year 3 and 4 students and look forward to seeing the confidence and connections they built at camp continue to grow back at school.
Book Week 2025
Our Book Week parade on Monday was another huge success, with students (and staff!) going all out to celebrate their love of books. The creativity and effort that went into the costumes was truly incredible – from classic characters to modern favourites, our parade was a wonderful showcase of imagination and enthusiasm.
Adding to the fun, our staff teams embraced some fantastic themes this year. We had The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Shrek, Alice in Wonderland, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory making an appearance – with Mr Hemmes looking like he’d just returned from camp in his caterpillar outfit! These themes brought so much colour and energy to the morning, and the students were absolutely delighted.
A huge thank you to our families once again for supporting Book Week, whether through helping with costumes, donating books, or joining us to watch the parade. It’s always a highlight of the year, and we’re so pleased to see the tradition continue to grow in excitement and creativity.
Father’s Day Stall – Thursday 4th September
Our annual Father’s Day Stall will be held on Thursday 4th September. All students will have the opportunity to visit the stall and select from a range of lovely gifts to take home.
Each item is priced at $5 (cash only).
A big thank you to our Parents and Friends team for their ongoing support in organising this special event for our students – it’s always such a highlight in the lead-up to Father’s Day!
FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
We warmly invite all fathers, grandfathers, and special family guests to join us for a Father’s Day Morning celebration in the Gymnasium on Friday, 5th September 2025 from 8:00am to 8:30am. A formal invitation will be sent out later this week via Compass.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share a special morning with your child/ren and celebrate the important role you play in their lives.
Enjoy a light breakfast and special gifts created by students to share with their guests.
We look forward to seeing you there!
