NSW Health reports that there is a high level of influenza activity in the community, with cases of especially Influenza A and also RSV for primary school-aged children. Whilst we acknowledge the importance of regular school attendance, it is also important to note that we can support others in the school community by being mindful of keeping children home if they are displaying symptoms that may spread to others. Rest for a student who is unwell can also help them to engage better in their learning once their health improves.
