Message from Leadership
Dear Families,
It has been a short but eventful fortnight here at St Mary's. Last Monday we welcomed new 2025 families for a walk through which gave us a chance to not only showcase our learning spaces but to also give families a real, behind-the-scenes look at how we work together to foster curiosity, collaboration, and creativity.
What stood out most during these walks was the sense of community. Parents were able to see how our students collaborate with one another, solve problems together, and engage with teachers who are passionate about supporting them every step of the way. It’s always a reminder that learning is not just about academic achievement, but about creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can grow.
Classes for 2025
As we begin preparing for the 2025 school year, we want to ensure we have everything in place to provide the best possible learning experience for our students. To do this, we need your help!
With regard to all families and for purposes of planning, please let us know if your family will not be returning for 2025. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan our staffing and resources accordingly.
Additionally, if you have friends or family who are considering joining the St. Mary’s community, we’d be thrilled to welcome them. Our recent walk throughs were a fantastic opportunity to showcase the vibrant learning environment we’re building here, and we’d love to spread the word even further. Word of mouth is one of the best ways for us to connect with new families, so please feel free to invite anyone interested to visit and see what makes St. Mary’s such a special place.
Grade placements will be announced by the end of November before the whole school transition day, along with teacher names and the whole school staffing structure for 2025.
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and look forward to a quieter one this weekend.
Kind regards,
Anushka
