This term our Grade 5 and 6s will be learning how to design for 3d printing. We have purchased 3 new super-fast 3d printers that we will be using to print student’s designs.

Students will be participating in a global competition to create a design for someone with additional needs. They can design for someone they have identified from their own community or chosen for them by the competition. 

Their goal will be to create a design to make a change in the daily lives of people who have an additional need. We will be using Tinkercad online modelling software to create these designs and will create an account on the website to do this. We will then print the best designs to submit to the competition.
