A Message from the Principal
Dear Salvado Community,
As we reach the midpoint of Term Four, there is much to celebrate and many achievements to acknowledge. Our college continues to thrive with the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, students, and supportive community.
Firstly, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Friends of Salvado for organising a delightful morning tea to celebrate World Teachers’ Day on Friday 25 October. It was a wonderful opportunity to honour and appreciate the hard work of our teachers, who are truly the heart of our college. The morning tea was a beautiful gesture that brought us together in gratitude for their commitment and passion.
This term has been filled with exciting incursions and excursions across various year levels, providing our students with engaging learning experiences outside the classroom. These events are invaluable, allowing students to connect with real-world learning and broaden their horizons.
I am pleased to share that Term Four standardised testing and OLNA have been completed, and our teachers are now in the process of preparing end-of-year reports. This data provides us with essential insights into our students' progress, helping us support their growth and development as we look ahead.
Yesterday, we came together for our annual Community Mass to acknowledge and thank the many volunteers who give their time and energy to make Salvado Catholic College a special place. Your support and generosity are vital to our success.
This week, we are excited to host our inaugural school production of Hansel and Gretel. This special event showcases the incredible talent of our students and the dedication of our performing arts staff team. We hope to see you there to support and enjoy what promises to be a memorable performance.
Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm. We look forward to an exciting conclusion to the term and hope to see many of you at our upcoming events.
