Parody: Comedic commentary which copies the original work
Satire: the use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

- Identify satire and parodies within texts.
- Explain the characteristics and purposes of literary devices to engage the reader.
