Raising Resilient and Compassionate Humans

Galen Catholic College’s Wellbeing Team are excited to have Lael Stone hosting an exclusive online event (webinar) “Raising Resilient and Compassionate Humans” on Monday 28th October at 7pm. This is a free event for Catholic Schools Wangaratta (CSW) families & staff.

Lael is a highly respected educator, author, mother and parenting counsellor who has been working with families for more than 20 years and presenting across the globe. Lael's TEDx Talk on How To Raise Emotionally Intelligent Children has had over three million views and she has been a guest speaker on The Imperfects podcast and works with The Resilience Project on a regular basis.

All CSW families are invited to register for the live event here (or via the link on the attached flyer which also details the topics that will be covered). If you cannot attend the live event, we recommend registering to have access to the recording which will be available after the event. The webinar will consist of a one-hour presentation and there will be 30 minutes of question time following. 

GCC Acting Deputy Principal - Student Development, Kylie Girolami, says “Lael’s presentation will provide an opportunity for parents to hear from an expert about maintaining and improving resilience and compassion in our young people’s lives. The Q&A session, following the presentation, will be invaluable.”
