GRADE 3 SOVEREIGN HILL EXCURSION
Last Thursday, 12th June, our Grade 3 students embarked on an exciting excursion to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat. The day was filled with hands-on learning and adventure as the children explored the fascinating outdoor museum, stepping back in time to the gold rush era. A highlight for many was trying their luck at gold panning, with a few lucky students even finding tiny specks of gold! The Red Hill Mine tour took them underground to experience the life of a 19th-century miner, while a visit to the famous Lolly shop was a sweet treat that brought big smiles all around.
