I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our incredible Year 12 cohort on their outstanding efforts, focus, and behaviour during the recent Trial HSC Examinations. Your commitment to doing your best and supporting one another through what is often a stressful time has been genuinely impressive and reflects the resilience and determination we’ve come to expect from this year group.

As we move beyond the Trial period, I want to remind everyone that attendance remains compulsory right up until graduation. These remaining weeks of Term 3 are critical for gaining personalised feedback from your teachers, consolidating your knowledge, refining exam strategies, and ensuring you are fully prepared for the final HSC exams. Every minute counts – and all classes will continue as normal until the end of term.

Looking ahead, we’re pleased to confirm that the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Thursday, 25th September at 9:30am. Each student will receive three guest tickets for family members to attend, and the ceremony will be livestreamed for extended family and friends who cannot attend in person. The formal ceremony will be followed by morning tea on the lawn (weather permitting), or in the gym if necessary. This is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and staff to celebrate your achievements and take photos to mark this milestone.

A Graduation rehearsal will be held earlier that week, followed by a Year 12 Activities Day run by the SRC. More information will be provided to students in the coming weeks.

We also still have a limited number of seats available for the Year 12 Formal. If you have not yet paid but would like to attend, please come and see me as soon as possible to secure your place.

A reminder to all students that any unsafe or inappropriate behaviour in the lead-up to the HSC period may result in disciplinary action, including the possibility of being prohibited from sitting exams at this venue. We expect students to finish their time at Wyndham College with the same maturity and respect that has defined your time with us so far. There will be plenty of time and opportunity to celebrate your achievements in a safe, inclusive, and respectful manner.

Finally, I’d like to wish all students the very best as the countdown to the HSC continues, particularly those submitting major projects or beginning early written exams. We also extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful staff, who continue to go above and beyond in supporting students with feedback, additional tutorials, and mentoring.

Keep up the great work – the finish line is near!
