Voicing the Principalship – Tina King at The Age Education Summit

APF President Tina King was featured as a panel speaker at The Age Education Summit, where she brought critical attention to the lived realities of leading in schools today. Tina’s contribution focused on the increasing pressures facing principals, including intensifying accountability measures, staff shortages, and wellbeing demands, while reinforcing the central role of school leaders in shaping positive educational outcomes.
More importantly, she reinforced the critical importance of school leadership in shaping educational equity and system improvement. Her message was clear: "Principals make it happen, but they can’t do it alone." The APF will continue to ensure that principals are not only seen but heard and that your experience and expertise are front and centre in any serious reform efforts.
