Victorian President's Report
Tina King - APF Victorian President
We are proud to report continued growth in membership, providing an encouraging sign that more Principal Class Officers are recognising the importance of a strong, united voice for our profession.
At a time when the demands on school leaders are greater than ever, collective advocacy has never been more important. The APF is the only organisation solely dedicated to the interests and wellbeing of Principal Class employees. Our purpose is clear: to protect and promote the professional, industrial, and ethical standing of school leaders across the state.
Our growing membership enhances our strength at the bargaining table, in policy consultation, and in public debate. It ensures your voice is amplified on issues such as workload reform, school funding, professional autonomy, and improved conditions.
Every conversation we have with government, the Department, media, and peak bodies is shaped by what we hear from our members. That’s why we’re asking all members to continue:
When we grow our collective voice, we strengthen our ability to advocate for a system that recognises and respects the unique yet pivotal role of school leaders.
We thank each of you for the work you do, not just in your schools, but in contributing to a broader movement for sustainable and principled educational leadership.
