Term 2 Week 10
Celebrating Success in Trade Pathways
Four of our Year 10 students recently graduated from the Made for a Trade and Girls Can Too programs at a special ceremony held at Gallery 43, TAFE NSW Wagga Campus.
Riley and Clarissa participated in the Made for a Trade program, while Millie and Keiraleigh were part of Girls Can Too.
These hands-on programs aim to help students explore future career pathways in trades by providing practical experiences, industry placements, and TAFE NSW training days.
Over the course of Terms 1 and 2, students committed to one day each week at TAFE or in industry settings, gaining insight and skills that can lead to apprenticeships or traineeships.
This marks the third year Wagga Wagga Christian College has taken part, with many past students now pursuing successful careers in the trades.
Mr Forbes-Taber attended the graduation event alongside proud families to acknowledge and celebrate the students' dedication and achievements.
We are proud of the way our students represented the College and look forward to continued participation in the Semester Two program offerings.
