Sports Report

Term 2, 2025

Lightning Prem

On Friday 27th June, our Inter School Sport teams travelled far and wide to play in the Winter Lightning Premiership Day. After a season filled with highlights, we were greeted by cloudy skies early, however, the sun broke through and we enjoyed the beautiful conditions for play.

Unfortunately, we were struck down with many students absent with illness, this greatly impacted our Netball and Football teams. We thank Will McG and Alex J for moving teams to assist the Netball teams in filling all their positions. Also, a big thank you to Raff B and Darius T for being late call ups to assist with the Boys Football Team.

All players in each team showcased great sportsmanship on the day and played to the best of their abilities.

A thank you to the parent helpers, teachers and ES staff who assisted throughout the year. These events are not possible without your support. The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities presented throughout the season.
