In the community

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday for our Lantern Festival, celebrating the Winter Solstice in true community spirit.
Over 150 staff, students, and family members gathered for a beautiful afternoon of light, warmth, and connection. Together, we shared more than 15 delicious soups kindly donated by families and the school, along with fresh, hearty bread generously provided by Bakers Delight (Northcote Plaza), Billy Cart Bakery, & Alex Bake!
The festival highlights included storytelling and the magical walk through our spiral maze, lit up by the stunning lanterns handmade by students in class. It was truly a sight to behold and a reminder of the creativity and care in our school community.
A heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, organisers, staff members, and families who helped make the event so special — from soup stirrers to lantern makers, we couldn’t have done it without you.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! Please take a moment to share your feedback so we can keep improving our events: Feedback here
And if you'd like to be involved in the organising of next year's event, please send an email to agratian@gmail.com
Wishing everyone a warm and peaceful winter season.

Trivia Night!
What an incredible evening we had at our recent Trivia Night – thank you to everyone who came along, joined in the fun, and helped make it such a success!
The atmosphere was electric with delicious cheese platters, great tunes, and more laughter and smiles than we could count. A huge shout-out to all the volunteers who helped behind the scenes and on the night – your time and effort are so appreciated.
A special thank you goes to our brilliant MC, comedian Freddie Arthur, who kept us entertained and the night running smoothly with his sharp wit and infectious energy, as well as DJ Lucky Quinn who put out the awesome beats that filled the d-floor!
Congratulations to all our prize winners – from trivia champions to best-dressed legends and the most accurate paper plane pilot. You brought the fun and the flair!
If you happened to win a voucher you're unlikely to use, feel free to drop it back at the office. We'll gladly repurpose it for future events to keep the good times rolling.
