Welcome to Term 3

I pray that you all had a wonderful school holiday period and have managed to recharge, ready for the term ahead. It’s amazing to think we’re now over halfway through the year, yet there is still so much to look forward to in the remainder of the 2025 Academic Year.

Staffing Updates – Term 3

We have a few staffing changes this term due to periods of Long Service Leave and new appointments. I shared this information with you late last term, but as a reminder, please join me in welcoming the following staff members if you see them around the College:

  • Mr Ian Dow – Covering Mrs Caroline Wicks in Term 3 and Mrs Nikki Meinel across Terms 3 and 4.
  • Mrs Sarah Grosvenor – Covering Mr Andrew Cope until Week 5.
  • Ms Maria Cicchiello – New Year 5/6 French Teacher.
  • Mr Matthew Bajjali – Covering Mrs Kirrilee Collins in PE, as she reduces her teaching load for the remainder of 2025.
  • Mrs Sarai Bailey – Taking on Mr Andrew Bloomfield’s Junior School classes as he transitions fully into the Secondary School.

We are grateful for their contributions and excited to have them join the Junior School community.

Blessings Day

On the last day of Term 2, we celebrated ‘Blessings Day’ (formerly known as ‘Identity Day’). Students from Years 3 to 6 created displays to showcase something they are passionate about and consider a blessing in their lives.

Other Junior School classes visited the displays, and it was wonderful to welcome parents who also came to view the students' work.

Congratulations to all students on producing such thoughtful and creative displays. It was a joy to see your passions come to life!

Alpha Course

In Term 3 we will again be running the Alpha course in Mandarin. If you would like to attend or know someone you would like to invite, please register here:

I look forward to seeing you around the College during the term. If you need any assistance or have any questions about what’s happening in the Junior School, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s classroom teacher, myself, or the College office.

Blessings,
