Holiday Highlights and an exciting time set for Term 3!
The school holidays have been a wonderful time of connection, creativity, and exploration here at the Early Learning Centre. During this period, our children remained actively engaged in a variety of hands-on experiences that sparked curiosity and joy. The holidays were filled with both fun and learning, from craft activities and group cooking sessions to outdoor walking adventures and imaginative play. A big thank you to our dedicated educators for creating such a warm, stimulating environment.
Looking ahead to Term 3, we have plenty to be excited about! The term will kick off with various celebrations, learning opportunities, and meaningful community connections. In Week 2, our Preschool children will head out on an excursion to the Botanical Gardens and Little Sprouts Kitchen. Later in the term, our Class 3 Community will enjoy a fun-filled musical incursion from the Amazing Drumming Monkeys in Week 8.
Weeks 4 and 5 will also be particularly exciting as we welcome the Henny Penny Hatching experience to the breezeway. The children will have the opportunity to observe chicks hatching and learn about their life cycle in real time - always a favourite with curious young minds!
We’re also looking forward to our annual Book Week celebration, where children (and staff!) will be invited to dress up as their favourite book characters. More information will be shared closer to the date, but it’s always a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of reading and storytelling.
With all this and more to come, Term 3 is shaping up to be an enriching and exciting time for everyone. We look forward to another term of fun, growth, and meaningful connections with you all!
