Extra-Curricular at MAG

Young Performers Concert
On Monday, June 16, we witnessed an outstanding evening celebrating our Primary students’ achievements in music at our annual Young Performers Concert. With 58 performances from over 117 students showcasing talents on piano, guitar, drum kit, trumpet, voice, bass guitar, violin, choir, and drumline, this event was nothing short of incredible.
To our performing students—thank you for putting on such a wonderful show. I hope you enjoyed the buzz that performing brings and carry a sense of pride in your musical achievements. Thank you also to our wonderful IT, Maintenance and Communications staff for your valuable contributions.
A big thank you to our Primary Music Captains, William Eacott and Lila Mislicki, and our Secondary Music Captains for their leadership throughout the day.
Thank you, Shane McGrath, for wearing two hats on the night—as a music tutor and as a live sound engineer—and a very big thank you to all members of our parent community for supporting your child’s musical development.
Most importantly, an enormous thank you to our extra-curricular music team for inspiring students every day at our school:
