Principal's Message
Mrs Kaileen Carr
On Friday, Eglinton will be hosting the Primary Principals Council meeting. Primary Principals from Lithgow, Bathurst and Mudgee will be visiting our school. This will allow us to showcase some of the wonderful things we do at Eglinton.
Today a group of students travelled to Holy Family school to participate in a chess competition. We wish all the students the best of luck.
As an end of term reward for the whole school, our Student Leadership Team have decided that all students will enjoy a casual dress day and a whole school picnic at crunch and sip time on Friday 4 July, the last day of term. Please pack something yummy for your child/children to eat at the picnic.
Term 3 is starting to look busy already. We are planning open classrooms and school performances to celebrate Education Week, Book Fair and Book Week Dress up, NAIDOC celebrations and Pedal Push. Keep an eye on our school calendar for dates and times.
Congratulations to Mr Peters, who will be relieving at Neville PS as Principal for the first 4 weeks of Term 3. We wish him all the best. We will be sending an email to parents about who will be replacing Mr Peters next week.
School Community Charter - Please read the attached document outlining the School Community Charter.
At Eglinton we strive to ensure that all teachers, students, parents and community members treat each other with dignity and respect. This is inclusive of drop off and pick up times. The school is committed to building a positive school culture where student, staff and parent wellbeing is a priority. I appreciate your support.
