Wrapping up the Term 4 Mandarin learning for 2024, in the last two weeks, Grade 5/6 students across four classes participated in the final Chinese Connect 5, or 五子棋 (wǔ zǐ qí), tournament. Finally, we have the winner of the tournament: JZ Tan, who defeated three other finalists, Jasmine, Oscar, and Holly.

Congratulations to JZ on being the winner, and very well done to the three other finalists.

JZ was awarded the Mandarin Award last week.

Concluding the final edition of the 2024 Snippet, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Donvale Community for supporting and loving the Mandarin program this year. I wish you a joyful Christmas and a happy New Year!
