Last day of school 2024

School finishes on Friday 20th December at 1:30pm. There will be a final assembly at 12:45pm. 

First day of school 2025!

School returns on Thursday 30th January at 9am. 

Book Packs

Book packs will be available to collect from school on Tuesday 28th & Wednesday 29th January - times to be advised. 

Orders may be purchased by following this link - https://schoolpacks.com.au/donvale-primary-school-bts-portal 

Orders must be placed by Monday 23rd December. 

Packs for Grades 3 - 6 will be delivered to the school in January and can be collected on 28th or 29th January.  

Packs for Prep - Grade 2 will be delivered to the school and distributed by the classroom teacher as required throughout the year.

 

2025 Parent Payment Arrangements

Payments will be available on Compass from mid-January. 

 

School Office re-opening

The office will re-open on Tuesday 28th January. Please call 9842 3373 with any enquires. 

Photographer Required for Graduation 

We are looking for a budding photographer willing to volunteer their time to come along to our Year 6 Graduation on Monday 16th December from 6.30-8.30pm at Doncaster Secondary College to take some photos. If this is you, please reach out to Sarah Hodgson (sarah.hodgson@education.vic.gov.au).

 

SunSmart

A gentle reminder that ALL students need to wear their school hat this term. As we are a SunSmart school, we take very seriously the need to be sun smart. This includes

  • Wearing the approved broad-brimmed Donvale school hat outside
  • Encouraging students to come to school wearing a broad-spectrum water-resistant sunscreen (30+) and to reapply it during the day 

If students do not wear or have a hat, they will be restricted to play in the designated shade areas.

 

Lost property

If your child has misplaced any of their belongings at school, we have two lost property boxes. One at the tiger turf end of the junior building, and the other opposite the after school care room in the middle school building. 

Please ensure all your child's belongings are named clearly so it is easier for them to be found when they are misplaced.
